Locker Thefts (June 10, 2024)
Minto is working with the City’s Corporate Security Department to implement mitigation efforts, such as a locker theft deterrent system.
Things that residents can do to reduce incidents of locker thefts include:
Use a durable, quality lock on your locker. A suitcase lock, for example, is easily breakable and not sufficient to avoid theft.
If you have valuables, make use of the valuable lockers near the Customer Service desk. The cost to use these coin lockers is $0.25.
Leave valuables at home.
Should you encounter theft while attending the facility, please notify staff. If your valuables are stolen, please file a police report. The City cannot do this on your behalf.
